LAKE HIGHLANDS, TEXAS.
NATURAL URBAN LIVING
While looking for the home my wife and I are living in now,
a particular "Home for Sale" ad caught my wife's attention
in the Dallas Morning News. It read "Nature Lover's Paradise".
It piqued my wife's interest and ultimately lead us to purchase
the property. And so right it was. It just so happend to be
located in Lake Highlands, Texas. With White Rock Lake literally
down the street, minutes from downtown Dallas, historic Lakewood,
Fair Park and many other locations of interest so close by,
it was perfect.
Lake Highlands and all of it's surroundings is so quaint and
the spirit of the area is definitelly heard and seen! With Friday
night Lake Highlands Wild Cats football games, Highlands Cafe,
White Rock Lake and so many other amenities, it's no wonder
why it's such a popular location to live in Dallas. There's
even several horse stables where owners can board their horses
and come to ride through several parks, up to Flag Pole Hill
and other places at their liesure.
If you're ever in the neighboorhood visiting or looking at houses,
be sure to watch out for the peacocks! The horse stables near
us have about 20 peacocks that roam the streets visiting the
residents. What a sight to see. Especially living in Dallas. |
